The book Perceptions of the European Union among University Students: An Evaluation of the 2004 and 2014 Surveys at Marmara University is based on a comparative analysis of two surveys conducted by the Marmara University Institute of the European Union in 2004 and 2014. The study examines changes in university students’ perceptions of the European Union, summarising the historical development of Turkey–EU relations and the negotiation process. The findings demonstrate how public awareness, attitudes and support for EU membership in Turkey evolved over a ten-year period, with the aim of contributing to public information and policy development processes.
