The 6th International Student Triennial was held in Istanbul from 3-7 June 2013. Organised by Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts, it built on the 1997 event's tradition of addressing developments in art and design education. The theme was "Let's Connect the Dots // Connecting the Dots" and the event brought together diverse art and design systems to evolve into new ideas. It facilitated interaction through exhibitions, screenings, symposia and workshops. The event's interdisciplinary space fostered collaboration between educational models. The Triennial's institutional mission was strengthened and expanded by this event, which was led by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. İnci Deniz Ilgın.
