With the book Let's Sing, Kids: Children's Songs with Piano Accompaniment, our aim was to expand the selection of children's songs in educational music, providing melodies supported by piano accompaniment. While we believe the songs are suitable for children aged 7–12, we also believe they will hold meaning and beauty for people of all ages, as long as they haven’t lost their inner child, whether they’re singing along or simply listening. We took care to ensure that the harmonic and rhythmic structure of the piano accompaniments is dense enough to support children in developing a sense of polyphony. To this end, while some songs feature classical accompaniment figures, others employ popular, march and syncopated rhythmic patterns. Duygu Piji Küçük – Levent Deniz
