The book Environment: Awareness, Knowledge and Education was written to contribute to the field of environmental education. It is primarily aimed at teacher candidates in preschool, elementary and secondary education, and secondarily at all educated individuals. Its goal is to enhance the effectiveness of environmental education, which currently occupies a limited place in higher education institution teacher training programmes. It aims to develop prospective teachers' environmental awareness and knowledge, help them understand the importance of environmental education, and raise international awareness of environmental education.
